Using woodchips for paths

I’m creating some walking paths through my woodlands with woodchips. I had heard or read somewhere that several layers of newspapers under the woodchips will help keep weeds from sprouting up. Other recommendations say forget the newspaper and just make sure the woodchip are layers to a depth of four inches. Anyone else have experience more »

Gypsy Moth spraying

I have been told that the spray will effect other moth and butterfly larvae not just gypsy moths. So any larvae present at the time of the spraying are at risk. Because more »

Deer deterrent
