Contact White House to Protect Northeast Monarch Migration

The area used by the northeast region monarch migration to overwinter in Mexico during 2013-2014 has shrunk to 1.65 acres.  In their peak in 1996, the monarchs occupied nearly 45 acres.  That means that approximately 56% fewer butterflies survived the arduous migration to and from the mountains in Mexico.
