Contact White House to Protect Northeast Monarch Migration

The area used by the northeast region monarch migration to overwinter in Mexico during 2013-2014 has shrunk to 1.65 acres.  In their peak in 1996, the monarchs occupied nearly 45 acres.  That means that approximately 56% fewer butterflies survived the arduous migration to and from the mountains in Mexico.     http://www.nytimes.com/2014/01/30/us/monarch-butterflies-falter-under-extreme-weather.html?ref=michaelwines&_r=0 President Obama is scheduled to visit with more »
