Send a strong message of support for environmental protection and at the same time demonstrate your support of Wild Ones and its mission with your generous donation of time or monetary gifts. It is critically important to spread awareness and educate people on the need to preserve biodiversity, including those who have not yet joined Wild Ones because they don’t yet understand the importance and those who serve the public and who are dealing with competing needs.

Get Wild – Stay Wild  and the Wild Ones Legacy Program is a way for members and friends to provide additional financial support or to volunteer their time. These gifts help bring the message of preserving biodiversity through native plants and natural landscaping to others. After reading through Get Wild – Stay Wild  and the  Wild Ones Legacy Program, pick the one that works best for you and make a commitment. We’d love to hear from you and we hope you know your generosity will be appreciated.

All dues and donation payments to Wild Ones are fully tax deductible to the extent of the law.

In-Kind Donations

Donate to the Lorrie Otto Seeds for Education Grant Program

donate buttons greenThe Wild Ones Seeds for Education Program (SFE) began in 1996 and was named in honor of naturalist and Wild Ones inspirational leader Lorrie Otto. The program encourages Wild Ones members to help children learn about the natural world.

Wild Ones supports community efforts to establish or maintain natural areas, and work with local schools, scout groups, churches, libraries and other not-for-profit organizations to create butterfly gardens, rainwater gardens, or other outdoor learning projects.

SFE Grant Recipients receive SFE cash awards ranging from $100 to $500. Funds are restricted to the purchase of native plants and seeds for the grant-award year. Successful projects are eligible for discounts on seeds and plants from SFE Nursery Partners.

Please consider a donation to help support the grant program and help teach the next generation about the importance of native plants. Wild Ones is a 501(c)(3) corporation so your donation is fully deductible, as the tax laws allow., Native plants, Natural landscaping, Native landscaping, Native Wildflowers, Native grasses, Native trees, Native flowers, Native shrubs, Native ephemerals, Wildflowers, Noxious weeds, Noxious weed ordinances, Landscaping ordinances, grasses, trees, flowers, shrubs, ephemerals
