With the increasing interest in everything "green," Wild Ones recently announced their new campaign to increase awareness of the importance of using native plants in yards and other landscapes. While growing 19 packets of wildflower mixes, University of Washington researchers found that each contained from three to 13 invasive species, and eight had seeds for plants considered noxious weeds. Wildflower Seed Mixes Include Some Wicked Bloomers.
