SFE Grant Applications Due

Posted by & filed under Chapter Happenings!, Landscaping with Native Plants, Pollinators, SFE Grants.

The Wild Ones Lorrie Otto Seeds for Education Grant Program applications are due October 15th so if you’re a non-profit organization that is planning to develop an outdoor learning center using native plants and you’re looking for funding, consider applying for this grant. Funds can only be used for plants and seeds, but we’ll find a Nursery Partner to help you with not only advice, but to also possibly provide seeds and plants at a discount.

If you need some help in getting started with your outdoor learning habitat, you’ll find loads of information on the Wild Ones website about native plants and natural landscaping. If you are located near one of our Wild Ones chapters, contact them for some mentoring assistance. They’ll be happy to assist you in developing your learning center.

Lastly, although Wild Ones does not produce curriculum materials, we do have our Next Generation series of articles from our Wild Ones Journal that would be helpful in developing activities related to your outdoor learning center. You’ll find them informative.
